Dr. Andrew J. Kaiser III is a veterinarian with more than four decades of experience serving animals and families throughout Quincy, Illinois. Since earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri in 1975, he has built a career centered on compassion, integrity, education, and excellence in animal healthcare. After practicing at West Quincy Veterinary Clinic from 1976 to 1984, Dr. Kaiser founded Katherine Road Animal Hospital, where he served the community for more than 30 years. Under his leadership, the hospital became the first veterinary facility in the region to earn accreditation from the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), maintaining that distinction for two decades. Throughout his career, Dr. Kaiser provided care for companion animals, small mammals, exotic species, and wildlife. He was particularly known for his work with injured birds of prey and wildlife rehabilitation programs while also supporting the City of Quincy Animal Shelter with specialized veterinary services. In addition to veterinary medicine, Dr. Kaiser has devoted significant time to church leadership, community service, mentoring, education, and charitable organizations. His lifelong commitment to helping both animals and people has earned him the respect of clients, colleagues, and community members alike.
